Day 3

 Day 3:

While sleeping in the bathroom may have made me safer, It meant I woke up with some pain from my back, shoulders, and neck. 

I decided that today I would finally make an attempt to socialize, I decided there were two eliminating factors for who to talk too, I needed to talk to someone who I hadn’t talked too since getting here, And also not someone from the same block as Rosalina, Given that I’m still trying to avoid her. 

I narrowed it down pretty quickly to one person, Toad.

I got up and went to knock on Toad’s door, Luckily he was there. 

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “Hello!? Who is this?”

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “It’s me Marvin.”

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “Who the hell is Marvin?! I don’t know a Marvin!” 

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “Mario, It’s me, Mario.”

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “Well there’s no way i’m gonna let you in here man, You could kill me or something!” 

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “Well, We could go somewhere else in the building, I just want to talk to you since it's been so long.”

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “Alright then, I guess it’s a good idea to see what other rooms there are in this building… I’m not really ready to think about the rest of the Island yet though.”

Me and Toad found that in the direction of the dorms there was nothing else, In the other direction past the Gym there was a Red Door on the opposite wall, But it would not open, Also there was a staircase going up, Which lead us to the second floor, We only found one other room, The Music Room.

It had every instrument you could want, It even had computers.

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “Wow! This is incredible!”

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “It is pretty cool, But i’m more concerned about the computers. Is it possible for us to access the Internet? That could actually… It could save us!”

I started looking through the computers, But no luck at all… There was no Internet to connect to at all. We were still completely isolated.

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “But on the bright side Toad, You have this fantastic music room and several of the people here are skilled musicians too, If you got together with Cody and Timmy you could probably make some amazing stuff!”

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “No way, I don’t want anything to do with Timmy after he insulted me like that, Cody is fine I guess though…”

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “How did Timmy insult you?”

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “He thought that dancing pig would be great for his band, But he didn’t even notice me, The Ultimate Rapper! I would never work with him! I wouldn’t even mind if he did get killed!”

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “That seems like a bit of an overreaction…” 

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “There’s no such thing as an overreaction in the music industry! That's an important lesson, okay! It doesn’t matter how big the reaction is, What matters is if it’s good! Get it? If it’s Big and Good that’s the best!, If it’s Small and Good that’s still great!, If it’s Small and Bad no one cares!, If it’s Big and Bad that’s the worst! Do you get it?!”

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “I think I get it…” 

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “If I have another means of explaining it, Imagine you are an established musician, Your hometown explodes suddenly and you make an Album about it, If you make a big deal out of it and loosen yourself, Get all emotional and stuff, If your feelings are organized and beautiful you will gain everyone's respect, If you rush in you kill your career!”

This is the one topic, Where he is truly passionate… 

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “So good and bad is more important than big and small?”

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “Exactly!” 

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “I won’t deny that I did have a bad reaction, That’s absolutely right, You see, By insulting a musician even more popular than me, I would have harmed myself severely…” 

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “You weren’t seriously considering killing were you.”

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “Mario, Everyone is considering killing, Everyone… Many of us have little to no relation to each other at all, But the fact that I haven’t considered killing you specifically should be enough to ease your mind…”

It definitely was not. 

Toad (The Ultimate Rapper): “It’s inevitable that someone will die here, These people are not stand up citizens, Everyone here is selfish. Everyone here has some will to be the only survivor, Even you.”

He was right. 

I did not want to admit that but he was absolutely right. 

My chest spun wildly… Light nausea overtaking me…

Marvin Mario (The Ultimate Retired Hero): “I've gotta go, I'm not feeling well, Sorry!”

I quickly rushed out of the music room, Next thing I knew I was on the floor, I realized I must have crashed into something, No… Someone…

Rosalina (The Ultimate Stargazer): “What the hell!? Mario!? What are you doing here!”

It wasn’t just someone, It was her.

I panicked and ran away as fast as I could. 

I made it to my room and locked up, Realizing that it wouldn’t be long till she found my name on the door of the room, Now that she knew I was here… 

I did the same thing I did yesterday, I locked myself in the bathroom.

There was knocking on the outside door of my main room, She’s out there looking for me.

I forced myself to sleep…
